"Pub was ok, room dirty, dirty bedding and towels. No staff to complain to only bar staff who weren't really interested. Left after a few hours instead of staying the 2 n8ghts we had booked"

"The room was spacious and well provided. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good offering a large choice of options. Dinner menu was also excellent and the food was fresh and well prepared."

"The room was very clean and had been newly refurbished. We were a bit concerned that there were no contact details about what do in an emergency with no-one living on the premises. We only realised this on the last morning so couldn’t mention it to staff. I would normally speak to someone directly rather than on a public forum"

"Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby.
Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟"

"Quirky old building with low ceilings and original features. Unfortunately looking a bit tired and our bed had a broken slat in the middle making it pretty uncomfortable. Breakfasts and check in was great just needs new furniture. Also very close to Trebarwith strand, just check for low tide!!"

"My wife and I had a lovely stay here. The hotel was well maintained, welcoming and presentable. The staff were very friendly too. The room was amazing - very comfy bed, spacious, airy, private balcony and very quiet too. The spa was brilliant too and we had a very relaxing bespoke massage in the couples room. For us, the only downside was the quality of the food. It was ok but a couple of the dishes were a bit greasy and overcooked which was a shame for the prices they were asking. Breakfast - there was plenty of choice, but again, no different to a national budget chain I’m afraid. We didn’t let the food disappoint us though, because overall it really was a lovely setting and a memorable stay!"
"Comfortable bed, good shower, spacious room with plenty of tea and coffees, nice toiletries , large room fan if required and close to amenities. Friendly staff, plenty of parking spaces and delicious breakfast."
"Fabulous hotel in Truro. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The one thing to note that’s missing in their rooms is a mini frig. Otherwise it’s a stunning hotel."
"From the outside it looks run down and the bar area also might not appeal to everyone BUT the people where lovely the staff the locals in the bar it's just a inn / pub with rooms BUT the room was big the bed huge for me as a solo traveler I'd say it was king or queen saved not just a double. Iv stayed in places at double the price with half as much space so was made up with the room and the breakfast they had a buffet section with loads of stuff to eat and drink then a cooked breakfast I went with a full English if I'm being critical it took awhile and the elements that were pre prepared were slightly over done but still edible not burnt to a crisp just a very well cooked sausage let's just say but all in all for £6 extra no need to grumble and as I say you could have had anything you wanted for breakfast plus the buffet of juices and pot style filter coffee and pods and cereal for the price it's great exactly what I needed after cycling John o groats to lands end and needing to wait over night for a train"
"St. Michaels hotel is pretty nice, staff were friendly. Due to schedule change I asked for one night extension which has been taken care. Unfortunately, it rained quite heavily during our stay, so we were unable to explore the surrounding areas entirely."
"Historical with beautiful ground. We stayed in Hunter, a three bedroom apartment that is built against a ground. It is a bit musty and quite basic. Mattresses are not good quality. Bathroom has no counter space. The property in general feels dated and not luxury when it comes to softwares."
"This is a lovely hotel which we have stayed in before. Friendly, helpful staff and conveniently situated for a short walk to the beach & Mawgan Porth, coastal walks. Buffet breakfast has lots of choice but does run out quickly, staff are on hand to top up but you may need to wait for certain items. Hot breakfast is available for a surcharge, we found the buffet breakfast more than adequate. No air conditioning in the rooms but fans were provided and these were very effective in the recent heat. Our room overlooked the car park (only option available when booked due to half term) which was noisy from early in the morning with deliveries and trolleys being pushed around. Ate in the OGO restaurant which was lovely staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable great recommendation on the local Bauhaus wine 😊 will definitely stay again for a nice relaxing break with nice food, sunset views and amenities."
