"The hotel was a beautiful historic building and parking was free and plentiful. Bed was comfortable and excellent shower! Was in the center of town and could although there were many shuttered storefronts, there were enough shops to walk to. Ate at the in-house pub both nights. Don’t miss the pimento fritters!"

"The bathroom was covered in black mold (myself and my children are allergic to mold!) and the room actually smelled like someone’s basement. We asked the front desk to move our room since they were unwilling to give us a refund and they moved our room, the new room had garbage on the floor and blood on the bed sheets; still refused to refund us. We were forced to stay after paying $200 for this nightmare, and then in the morning, we were awoken by a domestic dispute in the room next to us. All in all, an absolutely terrible hotel and terrible stay. NOT recommended! I wish they would have honored the refund! BAD BUSINESS."

"Breakfast was just ok. Not much variety.
Room was ok as far as cleanliness.
Bathroom tub was poor. It was so slick I could not bathe. And the bottom was rusty and had some kind of dirty glue residue?
Did not use pool.
The staff attendant was very helpful Saturday night when I checked in. The room did not have an item I had specifically called and asked for but when we arrived no such item. He upgraded to a room with item."

"Walked into lobby to check in, and only thing i could hear was a voice yelling can i help you (come to find out it was on the camera system) finally a person came to check me in, get signed in and given 1 key for the room. Get to the room and it was hot in there. The shower had fresh water in it, there was urine on the top of the toliet, there was stuff screwed in place, and lamps powering other lamps. The amout of foot traffic in the parking lot was ridiculous for the short time i was there. "
