"Center strip right on the beach with unsurmountable views! Our suite was large and had a huge tub looking straight out over copacabana. The bed was glorious after walking all day and we had a fridge. The best thing, the huge balcony! Staff was super friendly and helpful. As an American I always complain about buffets when I travel. It had a bunch of fruit and cheese and some sliced chopped ham, but the scrambled eggs were way undercooked everyday... just watery. I didn't recognize anything else on the hot side of the buffet. The omelette station had one guy working it and the line was always backed up. Again, most folks would love it!"

"I will start by saying the hotel was in a great location. Being right there on Ipanema beach and just steps away from the beach. It was located near many restaurants and local stores. The staff were welcoming and all were very helpful throughout my stay, making me feel like I was on vacation. However, I have stayed at many hotels and the amount of money I spent on the Lux Vista Mar Panoramico was not worth it. The room had this weird smell. It smelled like urine. The room was very outdated. The only thing good about the room was the view. Also, there was construction going on so from bright and early every morning on my vacation, I could hear banging and knocking. The walls are very thin, you can hear people talking on the beach, playing music all night and the room is on the 15th floor. So let’s just say, I barely got any good sleep. There wasn’t an iron in the room, waited an hour to get one and when I did get one, it was broken, the water poured right out. There was a used towel in the bathroom when I first arrived. The elevators took a very long time to come and the breakfast options were limited. I couldn’t wait to leave that hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again."

"I liked everything about the hotel,staff cleanliness, location.Maybe a bit more variety of hot food for breakfast and the room I was in could do with a few hooks on the wall to hang your clothes on but not a big problem.Found the front reception staff very helpful,all spoke good English and were pleasant and polite.👍"
