"We loved our stay at Splendid! I have never seen a breakfast spread quite as beautiful and amazing! The butter and croissants and jam selection… magnifique! This hotel does small details so well — from the free drinks in the lobby (vin chaud and chocolat chaud in the evening, coffee in the morning, sparkling water) to the robe and slippers in the room. It is a super location too. We had a terrace overlooking the lake and city, yet the street noises were not noticeable at all. Pick this hotel. Can’t wait to stay here again soon! "

"We absolutely loved this hotel! We had amazing views and relaxation from our balcony overlooking the lake. The room was quite spacious with a very comfortable bed! We also loved the small details — the robe and slippers, blankets for sitting on the balcony, adapter plug, umbrella, etc. The Le Table restaurant in the hotel was amazing also. The quality of the meal for the low cost was unbelievable. Pro tip: If you are on the fence between a lake view terrace or a lake view balcony, go for the balcony. It’s the exact same view. Can’t wait for our next visit! "

"We were greeted by Raphael on our arrival who was extremely pleasant, spoke excellent English and was very professional. Our room was overlooking the canal and was very clean and well equipped. We had breakfast everyday at the hotel - there were plenty of choices and the food and service were excellent. We also dined in the hotel and again had a wonderful meal and excellent service. The hotel is situated right in the pedestrian old town and was very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. We will definitely be back in Spring! "

"Staff very friendly and provided a warm welcome on arrival. The location is great proximity to the town and close to all the residents and bars. The breakfast is bearable, but nothing amazing. Some days the scrambled eggs looked like porridge, other days like curdled milk, and other days like actual scrambled egg. The room was a nice size and had everything needed. For the price I think it’s great value. "
