"Initial check in was a bit hostile but the other receptionist made up for it! Room was ready early the room was clean and comfy. The

and leisure facilities were great and the gym very well equipped. We didn’t eat in the bistro as it shuts early on a Monday but went to a lovely nearby pub. The grounds are beautiful in the hotel and worth a wonder. The car park seems pricey at £10 a night but the breakfast was stunning. Overall very pleased. "

"We had a lovely couple of days here with family. The staff are without exception fantastic- really helpful and welcoming. Can’t praise them highly enough. The building is lovely, with nicely decorated public rooms. We had a deluxe double and our adult children had standard doubles. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast had a good choice and was included. We can’t comment on other meals as we didn’t eat there at lunchtime or in the evening. We enjoyed the

"One of my favourite short breaks days ever. A beautiful location with fantastic facilities you must visit the restaurant because the steak is to absolutely die for. Very close to Chedder gorge, not too far from Bath or Bristol. The scenery was so pretty. Plenty of parking. Spa facilities were absolutely excellent. The staff are very accommodating friendly and helpful. We had a last minute change of circumstances which meant that our daughter had to come with us so they supplied a rollaway bed at no extra cost our daughter even ate for free. We really couldn’t have asked for more oh and cookies upon arrival, I’m sorry what ! Great touch. "
