"Comfortable and simple hostel. Nice room with everything necessary, could have had individual lights for each bed. Safe and quiet area up on the hill but very close to the rest of Menaggio. Good boat connections to Varenna and Bellagio and bus connections to the rest of Lake Como and Lugano!"

"This would be a lovely place to stay anywhere, but its location so close to San Giovanni Stazione makes it especially appealing. It is away from the noisy bustling crowds of tourists, but within a couple of blocks of a number of good restaurants ranging from very casual to fine dining. Also, the staff was extremely helpful and attentive. The breakfast buffet was excellent with much of the food prepared in house. Lastly, my favorite feature of the hotel was their Bioclimatic Greenhouse, a lovely sunroom with an adjoining patio. I enjoyed ending my days there in the peace and quiet with a cold beverage. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property"
