"This was a beautiful property with very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms had the perfect mix of old unique architecture and modern amenities. Loved the courtyard for some peace and quiet as well as a quick dip in the pool on a hot day. The breakfast was so good, fresh made pastries and eggs and cappuccino to order. We only stayed one night, but wish we could’ve stayed longer to explore more of the city."

"La villa est bien située, au calme des rues agitée de Modica. Le propiétaire est super acceuillant et bienveillant : bref, on se sentirai presque à la maison. Les petits déjeuners sont assurés dans un petit café à l'entrée de Modica, facile d'accès et proposant de vrais et bon déjeuners Siciliens. "What a gem!! I cannot say enough good things about this property. Great location in old city with an easy walk to all sites. Loved the stone walls of the room with same material for barrel-vaulted ceiling. Very spacious. Felt like I was in a medieval castle but with all modern fixtures and amenities. Amazingly quiet for being in part of old town (I didn’t hear a sound at night). Being located on edge of mountaintop, my room had a wonderful view out to other parts of old town, with french doors that opened. The owner Laura is extremely gracious and kind, providing great information, recommendations, and assistance with bookings. The morning breakfast had many choices and was very good. I highly recommend this property."

"The Feudi del Pisciotto Wine Relais was a beautiful resort in the middle of Sicily! The grounds were very well kept, the place was peaceful and serene, surrounded by vineyards and forested areas. The resort itself is built using historical buildings from an old winery, and you can even see the old wine pools (pisciottos) where the grapes were stomped and the wine made! The room was very spacious and clean and the bathroom was spotless. The only issue we has was with the accessibility of the power outlets, but that was easily addressed. The staff was super friendly and sweet and took us on a mini tour of the resort. We had dinner at their restaurant and it was beyond delicious! I wish we were hungry enough to order their full dinner menu! Overall a great place for a quiet and relaxing stay! Highly recommend"

"This was one of our favourite stops on our tour around Sicily. After spending so much time in the cities, it was wonderful to relax in the peaceful countryside. The property itself was beautiful, full of character, and felt very authentic. There was ample parking. The pool, set within a walled garden, was absolutely stunning, although the water was quite cold during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and our room was very spacious. That said, the furniture and bed were a little uncomfortable. There was a spa and some excursions. But no written information anywhere. A summary of activities in our room would have been helpful. We enjoyed walking around the grounds, although part of the path passed by a small airstrip, which wasn’t particularly scenic. Because of that, I don’t think I would choose to stay in the houses located beside it. You have to try the almond milk absolutely delicious. We also had dinner in the dining room both evenings, and the meals were excellent. Overall, this was a charming and beautifully decorated hotel, and we had a lovely stay."
