Beautiful property with incredible hosts. Our stay was incredible. Amazing, historic property, with hosts that make you feel at home and give you an authentic Sicilian experience. Breakfast was amazing with a delicious variety of local items. It was nice to be able to have amazing conversations with our gracious hosts and feel like we came away with a better understanding of the place (and people) we were visiting. Our room was impeccable, with beautiful views to wake up to. Would gladly stay again and highly recommend!
This hotel reflects the richness of history and culture of the city and the hosts make a personal effort to combine great hospitality quality with kindness and charm.
Exceptional Ragusa experience! When we booked this property we did not know much about it as there were only 22 reviews. However, it turned out to be one of our most memorable and enjoyable stays during our 2 week trip around Sicily. The property is in a beautifully maintained historical family Palazzo. The beautiful historical furniture and artifacts contribute to the unique accommodations. Our room was an upgraded suite which was very comfortable and spacious.
From beginning to end our stay was outstanding. Rafaella and Giovanni are such kind hosts and their love for the property is so evident in all the details that made our stay so memorable. There is designated parking right in front of the hotel. Our room was spacious and the bathroom large and a roomy shower with immediate hot water. The Palace is full of so many antiques and beautiful pieces that remind you of the history. Ragusa's oldest city center is within walking distance. The breakfast is amazing, so much food to fuel you for the day. They helped us with dinner reservations, car service to airport and local tour information. We could not be happier with our stay and will definitely recommend and return.

The hosts Rafaella and Giovanni are extremely warm and hospitable. Rafaella bakes many of the delicious Sicilian morning pastries and desserts and we enjoyed learning about Ragusa and its history from both of them. The Palazzo has been the site of many notable meetings throughout the history of Ragusa as Rafaella's great grandfather held a high position in Ragusa's early leadership. The Palazzo has been nicely renovated to receive guests while maintaining many of the original features (i.e. original floor tiles lifted for utility work then replaced). The location is superb for walking to the main sites of Ragusa and there are many restaurants nearby.
HIGHLY recommended for a unique experience in Sicily!
Three generations of charming gracious hosts living in a palazzo home to the same family for generations. Beautifully appointed with family antiques and memorabilia. By far the best experience a tourist could ever hope for.
Special location in the center of Ragusa. The palazo is a beautiful place and the very kind family offer great service. The breakfast is fantastic with tipical local products.
Amazing Palazzo, restored with a tremendous respect for history and quality. Nice rooms and very hospitable hosts. Great, fully homeade. local ingredients breakfast, made to order/ on request.

I chose Palazzo degli Antoci online for its style and central location. What we experienced, went far beyond our expectation.
We had a beautiful, sun-filled room furnished with antique pieces from the family. The hospitality of Raffaella, her husband Giovanni, and their entire family, something that felt almost cinematic. Warm, considerate, generous, and deeply proud of their heritage, they showed us the true meaning of Sicilian hospitality.
Each morning began with an elegant breakfast, beautifully presented, featuring local specialties they thoughtfully introduced to us.
Shortly after arrival, my husband developed a serious infection from our travels the previous week, highly contagious and concerning. What touched us most was that the family never distanced themselves or made us feel like a burden. Instead, they cared for us with calm professionalism and genuine kindness.
Raffaella called her personal doctor, who came promptly. With immediate treatment, my husband avoided a deeper infection and possible pneumonia. They also helped arrange pharmacy visits, X-rays, and even blood tests at the palazzo. And everyday they made him patient food.
Due to his condition, we extended our stay. We left feeling deeply grateful, not only for the comfort of the property, but for having met people whose integrity and humanity we truly respect.
It felt such a like living inside a beautiful novel warm, real, heartfelt, and set in a generation palazzo in the heart of Ragusa.
Lovely hosts that makes you feel very welcome. The place has wonderful history and many original features that are renovated to look beautiful. The comfort in the room could have been a little better, there was a very strange plastic mattress cover on the bed that was extremely weird and uncomfortable to sleep on. Apart from that the room was great with a wonderful view. If you want a hotel with that family feel and hosts that does anything for you, this is the place for you!
What an extraordinary experience! The hosts, Raffaella and Giovanni are so gracious and wonderful. The place is exceptional; historic, beautiful, clean, quiet, welcoming.
Just before arriving we noticed they offered other services. We asked to book the nighttime bike tour of Ragusa. What a magical experience! We had a blast riding up and down the two areas of the city with Giovanni’s guided tour (on electric bikes, so very manageable). It really helped us to get a sense of Ragusa in the short amount of time we had there. Highly recommend!
They suggested a place for dinner, conveniently just down the street at Tipica. It was fabulous.
I appreciated the lovely-smelling toiletries in eco-friendly glass jars, and the smell of the jasmine in the courtyard. Also, they prepare the most delightful and delicious breakfast spread, and when we were there we met a lovely couple from Denmark.
We are thankful for the warm and generous hospitality of this family and the wonderful memories of Ragusa. We hated to say goodbye. Thanks for an unforgetable visit.❤️
There are few times in life when you travel and the place you stay becomes the highlight of the trip. But that was the case with this exquisite iconic property.
History, culture and personality of the island all come together in this unique place. The breakfast was a long, full table of hot and cold delights. It was not breakfast - it was a smorgasbord.
Its owners share their magnificent palazzo as if we were family. Their energy and charm about Sicily, Ragusa, their family's history, photos, antiques and food, bring the country to life. It is a page out of The Leopard.
We had visited a similar palazzo the night before in Ortigia. There we wandered the rooms and sipped champagne, but were mindful not to touch anything. At Palazzo Degli Antoci, we lived the experience. It was sublime.
And they made sure to guide s to the most authentic places to eat. I will never forget the veal with pistachio sauce at The Taverna or the owner's father, who asked if we wanted an english menu and then proudly pronounced - I am it!
If you stay only one place in Sicily, make sure you get to Ragusa and stay here. You'll regret it if you do't.
This was the best place we've stayed at in sicily rafaella and Giovanni were fabulous. It's a beautiful family home that has been in the family for centuries. Breakfast was fantastic. Would highly recommend this place. It was a wonderful experience
Giovanni, Francesca and her parents made us all feel at home. As if we were visiting old friends. Their palazzo offers the discerning traveler a most elegant sejour. Highly recommended.
It is a palazzo in more than name. The family has occupied this incredible property since 1920. When you stay here you become part of their fascinating history and they treat you like a guest in their home. It was one of the most memorable accommodations where we have ever stayed.
Our one night stay was absolutely exquisite. Of all the stays during our three week visit to Sicily this was by far our favorite. Everything was perfect from the moment we were greeted and welcomed by the owners at the front gate to the moment we waved goodbye to them from the taxi. This property is five star! Thank you Raffaella and Giovanni!
Don't think twice-this is the best hotel in Ragusa
Hands down this is the place to stay if you are visiting Ragusa. Hosts were extremely attentive to our every wish, and they had done a great job restoring a historic palazzo. It feels like sleeping in a museum with so many genuinely rare and classic artifacts - but in a good way, with all the modern convenience. Breakfast was to die for (they served ricotta freshly made that morning and made cannolis on the spot for us). Minibar is free. You have to walk down the stairs to reach Ragusa Ibla but that walk was the favourite part of our trip - every step is beautiful and insta-worthy.
