"Hotel and room beautiful. Comfy beds. We initially had 2 rooms and had to change 1 due to unforeseen circumstances. This was very difficult, I called the hotel a few times and spoke with Luciana in reservations who was rude and unhelpful. She asked me ‘what did I want’ and refused to take my number when I asked for the reservation manager Christina to call me back. That phone call never came.
However, when we got here the people on reception were lovely especially the porter who took us too our room, sorry I don’t know his name and I would also like to say Jenny in reception was very helpful when checking out and also finding our booking that we changed as it wasn’t obvious on the system.
Food in restaurant was lovely, breakfast had large selection. Dinner had a themed corner every evening which was also very good. However, restaurant was let down by staff serving tables who never smiled, along with tables that didn’t have cutlery on them, also waiting for someone to come and take a drink order meant that we were half way through our dinner before drinks came. I asked one server who was on her own in the outside seating area when she walked past if I could get some cutlery and her reply was ‘why didn’t you sit elsewhere’ to which I pointed out there was no other seats with cutlery either and she replied ‘I know I am on my own’. Also, drinks weren’t included in the halfboard dinner which I didn’t realise.
Pool areas lovely and sun loungers very comfortable."
"The best resort I have ever stayed at. The private beach, 2 pools, buffet breakfast & dinner as well as 4 al a carte restaurants. The list goes on!! Very close to the bus stop which takes you to Palma, Cala Esmeralda, Cala Gran & Cala Mondrago! Also has a bus that takes you to the night market on Sunday nights. The hotel staff were all sensational and attended to our needs as required. Food was great, staff were friendly and amenities were amazing. Room was so clean and spacious. I genuinely could not recommend this resort any more!! Definitely worth the money"
"Really wonderful hotel, three nights here provided an amazing opportunity to relax. Wonderful area by the pool and fantastic seaview restaurant. Very welcoming staff and lovely clean rooms.
Short walk to a small town with great restaurants, although you're well provided for at the hotel. Nearby is the iberostar where we also considered staying, which has a great rooftop bar worth visiting, but overall very glad that we stayed at the Grand Leon because the overall atmosphere and space to unwind was perfect.
Particularly appreciated the last day, where we had a late flight but were given the opportunity to relax by the pool for the afternoon and then use the courtesy room to change and shower before we left for the airport.
Would recommend to anyone and would be delighted to return."
"Overall hotel is very good value for money and breakfast is great. Annoying that you have to leave a €20 deposit for an iron or €15 for a beach towel, especially if you don’t have cash and all the ATMs charge €5 to withdraw."
"Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is in a convenient location, close to the city center and the marina, where you’ll find many great restaurants and tapas bars. The hotel was very clean, and the nearby beach was absolutely beautiful, with crystal-clear turquoise water and soft white sand.
Most of the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. However, my experience with the restaurant staff could have been improved. At times, they seemed less approachable and did not always provide clear explanations when we had questions. With a bit more attentiveness and communication, the dining experience could be greatly enhanced.
Despite that, I would still recommend this hotel for its excellent location, cleanliness, and beautiful surroundings."
