Colonia San Antonio Hotels near San Miguel de Allende

"Casa 2 is extremely LOUD no where in the description does it state if you're sent to Casa 2 you'll be a block away from the main Hotel no sight of the San Miguel Church. We were never handed a key to our room, I was told computers were down and they could not generate a key. We were at their mercy to open my room door anytime we had to leave. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE ....DO NOT STAY HERE ... SHADY"

"The property is great and a very beautiful place. I paid for breakfast for several days but my experience on day one is really bas almost 2 hours to wait and be served. So I wasted that money and the restaurant is something you should avoid"

"The hotel sits directly in front of a major highway, and the noise is relentless. Semis roar past at all hours, and the building does almost nothing to block the sound. The bathroom windows are built in a way that they can't be closed. The bathroom door itself is a thin hollow-core door, so noise cuts straight through it. The main door to the room has no seal at all, so highway noise pours directly into the room. Sleep here is genuinely impossible. The Wi-Fi is the second major problem. It's so slow and drops so frequently roughly every 10 seconds that doing any real work on a laptop is out of the question. It can't even sustain a single YouTube video. On top of that, the connection is tied to your specific room key card, which creates an absurd situation: when you pull the card out of its slot in the room, all the electricity shuts off, including your Wi-Fi. So you can't stay connected while moving around the hotel. There's a separate hotel-wide Wi-Fi, but it's only accessible from the lobby and requires a different password you have to ask for. That one at least works but unless you plan to sit in the lobby and do all your work there, bring your own data plan. Overall, I found this hotel lacking in every dimension that actually matters for a functional stay."
