"We got there just after 6pm. The place was open but there is no reception, nor was anyone there to greet us and no phone number to call. Fortunately there was a couple of guys staying there who were able to call someone who let us into our room. I couldn’t remember if this was a pay at property or if we had prepaid so I asked the guy who told me we owed €75. "We had an amazing stay here, and wished it was more than 1 night! A stunning and incredibly relaxing property in a beautiful and peaceful location. The kids loved the pool and play equipment (and the horses!); the adults loved the clean, pretty and comfortable family suite, with separate rooms, and a gorgeous bathroom. Incredible hospitality from the hosts, with such a warm welcome, and the best breakfast ever! It was fantastic to have the shared living room/kitchen area to prepare and eat our own food in the evening. Highly recommended and we hope very much to return,"

"City centre hotel with adequate parking. Units are in hotel and outside as separate blocks. Comfortable and well decorated. Could do with revising room light switches to control lights from bedside. Bedside lighting was unsatisfactory to me. But it is a nice hotel. Friendly staff."

"Hotel best western very hotel in a good location We stayed for one night, the hotel communal area was a little warm, but it was a heatwave the A/C was very cool in the room, but our unit rattled a little, but not a huge problem. Our room was large with a large bathroom and amazing shower very quiet rooms. Parking opposite the hotel was easy to park in and convenient for the hotel. Great staff, very helpful and friendly small bar are. The hotel was very close to the town centre, a short walk up the hill, with plenty of shops restaurants and cafes."

"We booked this hotel, last minute for a one night stop off on our way home after a few weeks travelling through Europe and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. We booked a classic room (cheapest) and it was superb, the AC worked very well in the heat, the room was huge with a seating area, great bathroom and separate toilet. We didn’t use the spa but the pool was quiet and very welcoming after a long drive. The staff all deserve a mention as the service is second to none but the highlight was the evening meal in the restaurant, we had planned to eat on the bistro as we thought the food in the main Michelin guide restaurant would be a bit fancy for us (we love good food but aren’t reay foodies) but as this wasn’t an option due to the bistro being closed we gave it a go and we’re glad we did as it was fantastic. We ended up having a main course and dessert each but this was accompanied by an amous bouche (thinks that’s how you spell it!), a huge hunk of bread and a pallet cleanser between courses, the wine list is extensive and way over my head but we managed to find a lovely bottle of Puilly fuilles to suit our taste and budget!! I should also mention that the restaurant terrace is beautiful especially when the sun go s down and the lights are on. Anyway, to summarise - great hotel, fabulous staff and restaurant!!"
