Coles hotel rooms a the Red Roof Inn

"Beautiful hotel, especially the bar and lobby area. Parking is not well marked and confusing to find. Two sides of the hotel with entrances and multiple parking options. One side marked of hotel is marked for hotel parking, but confusing which parking entrance to use. The other side marked for parking but not clear if for hotel. Multiple people were on the wrong side. Tried calling hotel to no avail. When I tried to explain issue to the front desk was met with an arrogant attitude. Once parked in garage, garage attendent had to let folks in and out, confusion again and was met with an arrogant attitude. Room design very nice, but stains visible on the couch. There was a stench on the room as well. Too bad, hotel has wonderful potential."

"We love the Archer Hotel in Old Town Alexandria. Quality, Price. And most of all, People. The quality of our experience is enhanced by the “Living Room” off the entrance and front desk area. The delightful “Homegrown” restaurant if the very best breakfast and lunch experience. The price is terrific! Feel like we are saving money compared to most other DC area hotels. Most of all, the Archer staff…kind of new generation with the culture of The Ritz. Thanks to the corporate management and teams who designed the Archer Hotel Experience!! "

"We had an incredible experience and completely enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazing and the accommodations were fantastic. My only call out would be the lack of TV technology. No access to streaming services and or phone mirroring was noted. However, the food at the restaurant, the entire staff were so kind, warm and helpful. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else but The Watergate. "

"Everything was great except 2 things. We arrived later in the evening and when we got to our room there was no soap in the bathroom (on sink) and due to the timing no maid service to get some from. Secondly, and most importantly, the HVAC system is incredibly loud! It sounded like an airplane reviving up for takeoff. We were exhausted and finally got to sleep but it woke us up during the night when it went on. "
