Airport shuttle was great and drove every 30 minutes; the dirver was friendly and helpful. The desk personnel were always friendly and willing to help. The environment isn't anything special, we chose it because it was close to the airport. Having said that, getting to downtown DC was really simple and fast, we used an uber to get around and never had to wait long. All in all, good hotel and good location for people who travel a lot.
