"Lovely hotel and room. No lifts for level one and no help from staff to carry suitcases. Not a lot of bench space in bathroom to put bathroom items. Bed was nice and comfortable. It is far from Oxford city, handy if you have a car, but not great if needing a taxi. Nice and quiet "

"Beautiful property. A bit of a rabbit warren but delightful to see the original features and feel the age of the building. Comfortable room and excellent bathroom facilities. Breakfast had most of what you would expect, I would like more fresh salad available. We especially enjoyed the walking route provided by the hotel, really lovely to get out and about in the grounds. "Stayed overnight for a wedding near by. A lovely welcome from the receptionist. Easy check in and a fantastic room. The room was clean, tidy and well decorated with lots of retro items. A well stocked hamper for those that are tempted with treats. The breakfast was delicious, I tried the full breakfast on a skillet with fresh orange juice and a filter coffee. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. "
