Hotels near Cockspur Island Lighthouse

"The hotel needs a makeover. For $250+ a night it should’ve been better. The cleaning staff need to step up their game. I pored water in the coffee pot n ran it thru and the water came out nasty. There was even a hair in it. The floors need mopping. The bathroom needs lighting and an overhaul. The mini fridge leaks inside. Water all inside. The bathroom door would not shut. The bed slept great and the TV was nice. The location is great. Right on the beach. Near the pier and stores. I would return simply bc of the location. "

"The pictures of this motel are very misleading. The building is older, and the renovations done did not include carpeting or bathroom updates. The moldy smell in the room triggered my allergies, making sleep nearly impossible. The room was full of dust, and it was clear that the cleaning had been done to a minimum. I was very disappointed in the room, but because it was spring break, finding another place to stay was hard. "

"Great location on the beach. Broken light in the bathroom, a couple large roaches, and no stocked kitchen basics (coffee etc.) Check in was very complicated in an Uber. You have to go to the office first to get the address for the room."

"The hotel is very retro and so cute. It is very convenient to the beach and easy to get around town from. We loved it and will definitely come back. The staff is so friendly and if i had a complaint it would just be the floor seemed a little dirty but at the beach im sure all seem that way. "
