"The hotel was in a great location! We loved our room on the 8th floor, and free breakfast. Coffee all day! Pool was closed without notice, but did not ruin things for us. There is so much to do in the Historic District."

"I had a pleasant stay overall, but I wanted to share some constructive feedback regarding the value. The staff was wonderful, and the property has a lot of charm. However, the rooms and facilities are feeling quite dated and are in need of some refreshing to truly match the premium rates. While I appreciate the hospitality, the current price point feels a bit high for the worn condition of the furnishings. With a few renovations, this place would be fantastic, but for now, it feels slightly overpriced."

"Place was very nice overall. I would give it 5 stars if they changed the following: 1. Be more reasonable then $60 per day for valet, this is excessive for the area 2. Pool was cloudy and not totally clean. While nice to enjoy it has some deferred maintenance they need to fix. There wasn’t enough people up there for the pool to not be crystal clear. . The staff attention to detail was excellent"

"Good location although a bit noisy for room with the historic view Nice and helpful staff Clean and comfortable room The only downside was the outrageous destination fees which added another $78 to what I had paid for a 2-night stay when booked with Expedia so be aware!"
