However, it’s not ideal if you want to be close to the city center, as it’s quite far from everything else. The beds were very comfortable and the place was clean, but the bathrooms do not provide soap or shampoo. "Laid back atmosphere.” Olde worlde” in terms of decor etc. Some rooms don’t have Air Con so watch for that. Reception staff are very friendly and when we did have an issue with lack of air conditioning (of which we were unaware) we were upgraded to a superior suite the following day. Quiet but v central. Bus to Coogee outside the door. Easy access to city centre too. Lots of restaurants and bars and supermarkets nearby too. Great spot! "
