"Really like this place. Amazing old building in beautiful grounds. Friendly staff, restaurant food pretty decent and rooms really nice, all at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was also excellent."

"I’ve stayed here many times. Rooms are clean, tidy and well looked after. The TV is very small though, so if you want to watch something, it could be a bit of a challenge.
The hotel is in a safe countryside area. I like that there’s nothing else around, but others might prefer more nearby.
Hot fresh breakfast is good, but the coffee isn’t great. I’d like to see more fruit and yoghurt options as I don’t eat a full breakfast.
I’ll happily stay again.

Staff are super helpful and fulfilled all my needs, very professional and gentle.
Location is 10min walk from station and easy
access.
Overall it's a great place with good value.

"I was there for just one night so didn’t check out dining areas etc. The bed was large and comfortable. Internet access good. Only slight problem was an issue with a tap, which told them about on checking out; it didn’t spoil my stay. Would definitely stay again."

"Great hotel with brilliant facilities! Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a red hot week and the AC didn’t work in my room so it was very hot. Fans not available. Room was well decorated but needed some TLC and maintenance- I can imagine that due to great facilities and service that the hotel is often full with little time to decorate etc
