"Front desk was very nice and housekeeping did a good job. Place is dated, everything in my 4th floor room was tired- tub, chipped and worn. Duvet and bed linens thin. Mattress was comfortable. Carpets in rooms and hall rugs need replacing. Pool was ok- but needs some attention to decking, doors and aging windows. Good staff. Interior Physical appearance and quality need serious upgrading. Great location-"

"Stayed here for my boyfriends birthday. I chose to upgrade the room, but they further upgraded us to the best suite they have which was complimentary. Room was beautiful. Great breakfast included with stay. Very kind staff. Would definitely stay if I came back to Newport."

"Mill Street Inn’s location is perfect if you’re in Newport without a car. It’s centrally located, an easy walk to transport, and just a few blocks from downtown. We enjoyed an afternoon drink on the rooftop deck after a long day seeing Newport. Shout out to Alex at the front desk. He was a great help in giving directions and making recommendations. He has a great smile and genuinely seemed to enjoy making us feel welcomed."

"Overall, an amazing experience. Hotel and service was impeccable. Room was really terrific. The only issue was that I snagged my dress jacket on a nail that was sticking out on one of their dinning room chairs. The restaurant manager came over and indicated that the ‘hotel’s tailor’ would take care of it. Not sure that the hotel even had a tailor and it was Labor Day weekend as well. No one from the hotel ever followed up."
