We loved our stay! Gorgeous, cozy, clean. The in-room fireplace was delightful. The property was decorated beautifully for Valentine’s Day. Property manager is extremely helpful and friendly. Morning breakfast spread is wonderful too. We’d stay again in a heartbeat!

I cannot say enough good things about this place— it was the best part of our trip! Super easy to get into your room, from the nice ambiance in the stairwell to the cleanest room & bathroom I have ever stayed in. The bed is really comfortable and there was no noise that was heard from any other rooms. From the Admiral we walked to Chomp to have dinner one night, which was very good, and in the mornings we walked to the Picnic Cafe for coffee and they have good pastries. And if you can get there early enough and don’t mind a line, Co-Dough is also close by. But don’t forget at Admiral Sims’ House they offer baked goods, yogurts and fruit cups that are also good! Stay here, you won’t regret it!!

We stayed at the Admiral Sims on Catherine St. and it was great! The house and property were beautiful and in a good location. Easy walk to the beach, and a little bit longer into downtown Newport but it is doable. Next time we come back we will definitely be bringing our dog!

Such a great stay for a weekend wedding in Newport. Instructions were clear for check in/check out and location was walking distance to Thames St. Unit was very clean & the bed was very comfortable- host Marie was communicating with us during our stay and gave us some great recommendations. It was a nicely updated unit in a beautiful old Newport home. The location is a nice neighborhood, conveniently walkable to everything around. The management was very friendly and responsive. All in all, a wonderful stay — we absolutely plan to choose this place again when we’re next in Newport!
