"Great bargain hotel. Room overlooked Marina. Convenient with Lidl, Waitrose & Home Bargains all around and plenty of places to eat & drink & ATM. Room was basically but had kettle & mugs & tea/coffee. Hairdryer available in reception. Small lift. Bed fairly comfy. Parking at Lidl with registration in hotel reception."

"Excellent stay. Great staff - friendly and helpful. It's an old building but they have really made an effort on the areas that matter including the rooms. Good, reasonably priced food in the bistro and restaurant plus an excellent breakfast. Will return."

"We have met various staff over the last 5 weeks and everyone has been friendly & helpful especially in the restaurant. We booked in for 2 nights over bank holiday .Room was pleasant no view and the one complaint to reception was about the pillows on the bed. Breakfast was very good and plentiful and the hotel is situated on the main beach road of Sand bay but no traffic noise. We will use the restaurant frequently over the summer as we now have our caravan on a nearby site but would book the hotel again if needed.Afternoon is especially good with coffee & fresh victoria sponge cake."
