"First impression was very good - I called the morning of our arrival and asked if there was any chance of an early check in, as our travel plans had changed slightly. A super-helpful guy named Joel explained that they were fully booked the night before, so could make no promises, but theyโd do there best. In the event, we arrived at 12:30 and they had a room ready for us. We had lunch at the on-site restaurant, which was good. The only slight negative was that my wife and I ordered rum runners, and they didnโt taste right - a bit too sweet and artificial tasting. My guess is, made from a mix rather than from fresh ingredients. Thats literally the only bad thing. The room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view of the Gulf. We had brunch there which was also good."
