"I know now where to stay every time I go to Gainesville. If you are looking for warmth and charm, and want something that resonates the south with its pretty gardens, Spanish moss, and trickling fountains, then this is it. I love bed and breakfasts for this very reason— the homely feeling. You can’t get that anywhere else. So glad we booked here. Very quiet place, was so surprised to see how many people were actually in the house when we went down for breakfast. You’d NEVER know based on how respectful and quiet it was."

"This hotel was spot on! Great location, nice, clean rooms, and a breakfast that was good enough to last you through lunch. My only issue was the loud air conditioner wall unit that was heard all through night even when it was not running. :( But overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting UF in Gainesville."

"I had read reviews saying the property was clean. I was only looking for a place to sleep for myself and my daughter, as we would be leaving early to tour UF. I sent a message to the property letting them know we would be a late check-in, probably around 11pm. They said that was fine. I received an email that gave me the following information: Gainesville Lodge 3: (insert 4 numbers not leaving that information in case they re-use codes). We made it right before 11. Staff is only present 8a-8p. I found room 3 but didn’t see a key pad and the lighting by the room was sparse. I called the number that was on the office door for assistance. We did get that figured out. The email they sent me did not have a # symbol in it so even if I had discovered the key pad, it wouldn’t have opened. Once we opened the door, we were greeted with dozens upon dozens of dead love bugs on the floor. There were live bugs on both beds, the pillows, everywhere. While on the phone with management I said something about the bugs and they just said “we do the best we can and sweep when we can”. Needless to say, we did not sleep well. I kept feeling like something was crawling on me. When we went into the bathroom we found more bugs in the sink and all over one of the bath towels. It was absolutely disgusting. We left by 6:30ish because we simply could not be in that room any longer. Spend a little more and stay at a better property."

"Everything having to do with the Hotel/Staff itself was Excellent. Be aware though. When I booked online the cost was $387.16 for 2 nights. However, the total charged to my credit care with the cost of the "fees" and "deposits" came to over $500 dollars. NO ONSITE PARKING. YOU HAVE TO USE VALET PARKING....another cost. BEWARE!!"

"I had made my reservation in February. We arrived May 15 and the owner operator stated that he was not expecting visitors until May 16. He then went on to explain that his housekeeping staff had quit overnight. All of the rooms were unkempt, dirty, and not even sweat. He was very nice. I swept the room myself. I will not stay there again. I had no choice as to the fact that I had concerts to Morgan Wallen and all other hotels in Gainesville were $12-$1500. I brought my own plastic sheets, as well as sheets and pillows and blankets. I did not want to touch anything in the hotel motel. Also, the bathroom window was open, which I did not realize until we returned from the concert. It was not a pleasurable experience. We literally left the hotel cleaner than when we got there."
