Top Clark Island Hotel Reviews
Whitehall
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at Whitehall was very relaxing. The Inn is quaint, very clean, and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and they made great use of every bit of space. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and a wonderful way to start the day. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Whitehall to anyone looking for a cozy, peaceful place to stay."
Glen Cove Inn & Suites
10/10 Excellent
"Good budget friendly hotel. Rooms are small but neat. Our room seemed to have a "lean" or a slope toward the bathroom. Continental breakfast was as expected - nice simple selection of muffins, bagels, fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee but i didn't see the parfaits that were noted on the website. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did not get the chance to use the pool. Street signage could have been more prominent and it's a touch tricky getting out of the hotel as there's a signal light pretty close by."
Ledges by the Bay
10/10 Excellent
"Really nice place! Disappointed we were only staying one night as it was so beautiful."
Island View Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful view and lovely walk down to the water. The room is very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great overnight stay. "
The Craignair Inn & Restaurant
8/10 Good
"We love the Craignair and this was our second visit. The staff are all wonderful and so accommodating. Our arrival was a bit rough because there was private event taking place, so we had to wait until the bartender found someone to check us in and then it felt a bit like we weren't supposed to be in the common areas until the event concluded. No big deal, but we might have planned differently had we known ahead of time that this was the case. Wait staff were a bit loud one night after dinner service, but quieted down when we asked. Still, I am impressed at how relaxed and homey the place feels even in high summer when tourists are everywhere. We had previously stayed in November and kind of had it to ourselves, so we were definitely spoiled by that experience, but were amazed at how peaceful it was even during the busy season. Loved hiking Craig Island and watching the birds and the waves every morning and evening from our balcony or the dining area. This place is truly a gem."
Strawberry Hill Seaside Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Friendly staff, pretty gardens, clean and pleasant swimming pool, and excellent views from our balcony over Penobscot Bay. Great central location."
250 Main Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"A beautiful boutique hotel with spacious rooms and perfect locale for access to all downtown attractions. The lobby is beautiful and features regionally relevant antiques. The room we had was very clean, attractive, well-designed and comfortable. But the top feature of the hotel is literally situated at the of the hotel—the rooftop. The only regret is that there weren’t more hours in the day to spend up there looking at the harbor just across the street. A beautiful sight and much appreciated."
