Decent menu but most of the food was bland, lacking taste or overly greasy (fish). Breakfast was wrong both mornings (even with simple request), kitchen needs to read the orders properly.. At the two dinners, both night people on tables around us were commenting on their food.. (which is such a shame for a lovely hotel..."

"Excellent location, staff were friendly and helpful, beds were very comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was ok. The steak was very over cooked and was like a frisbee. The duck was tough, the triple cooked chips were hot and delicious. The breakfast menu had a great selection and was very good."
