"Spacious rooms, nicely opp"

"One side of the hotel was about 50 feet from the frontage road and 100 feet from the interstate. The sounds from the adjacent roads were maddening and made sleep impossible. Additionally there was a car wash operating ten feet from other room's window. And I'm not even going to waste time trying to explain the horrible smell in the rooms. We were operating on 2 hours sleep in 24 hours and still could not sleep due to the noises. When we asked the front desk if we could please be moved to a different room the manager said "No" the cleaning staff is gone for the day and we're fully booked there's no where to move you to. Then I said then just check us out and cancel the other days. The manager said you can check out but there will be no refund because you are prepaid. I said fine we just want to leave. He then proceeded show us three different rooms that he eventually moved us to. We still checked out the next morning for a different hotel. Feel free to contact me if you want further amplification."

"We loved this historical hotel! The parking was tricky and we were never offered an upgrade but would def stay here again! It’s close to all the downtown shops which was very convenient."

"This is an unsafe space for solo female travelers. As I was checking in there was a person yelling at the front desk about something which should have been my first clue but it was late and I just wanted to sleep after traveling a long way. Got my key and found my room. The balcony directly above my room had 5-6 men standing outside on the railing watching me as I parked and went inside and dropped my bag. No issues from them but it was very unsettling being watched by a group of men. Took my dog for a walk around and around the corner of our room a man and woman were engaged in a loud argument in which the man started trying to kick in her door while she yelled that her kid was inside and to stop. That was my last straw, I packed up my stuff and left for another hotel. Not worth the stress."

"Elevator inoperable. For the price the hotel was adequate, not particularly pleasurable. Cable tv terrible."

"The carpets were so gross. And sticky. Don't walk around without shoes. The elevator what was listed in wheelchair accessible things did not exist. So neither is wheelchair accessible gym. And the first floor restroom was out of order. It was a smoke free hotel but the hallways and stairwells smelled of it. People would prop the side doors open and stand in the doorways to smoke. There was an arbor company residing there so the entire parking lot was full of their big trucks and trailers making it hard to park. We had to park next door and walk over. We were there for a Special Olympics event so I was sadden that they were less than accommodating in accessibility to a lot of our athletes "
