"I've been staying at this hotel since 2022, based on a recommendation. I've lived in the United States for 30 years, and I'm delighted with the place. The route flexibility, security, and especially all the staff are excellent. I always arrive super tired, and the staff are always there to help me! I go to Brazil frequently for work; my job is in aviation. And this last time, a young man named Rodrigo was spectacular!! The hotel was full, with events, and he did everything to accommodate me. And I hope CDesign appreciates this young man!! He has admirable talent. An excellent employee."

"We loved our stay here! A special shout-out to the staff who were amazing—so friendly, helpful, and always impeccably dressed. The place is also incredibly clean, from the rooms to the rest of the hotel. The location is absolutely perfect. It’s right in front of a big rock ("morro") that splits the beach in two. You can literally walk 10 meters to one side and have calm water for swimming, or go to the other side for great surf. Being so close to the Recreio market is a huge bonus too—it’s super convenient for getting cheap, fresh food and finding good deals on just about anything."

"The room was immaculate when we got there! Fresh linens/towels that smelt of detergent, perfect sized mini fridge in the room to hold a few grocery items. Access to the kitchen when we needed to make a “late night” snack (it was about 8pm). The best continental breakfast of our whole vacation, included with coffee/tea/fresh juice, eggs and sausages in a tomato sauce, fresh baked bread and pastries that were soft and oh so delicious. The biggest bonus? Being directly on the ocean with a small pool in a small town on the coast a little bit out of the hustle and bustle of Rio De Janeiro City. The host was beyond accommodating even with my very broken Portuguese and Google Translate coming in handy. It’s got a very big family vibe to the place and we absolutely LOVED IT. They even help set you up with a local driver (who often accommodates guests of this little hotel) who picked us up from the airport and waited a literal 2 hours for us outside because customs is a NIGHTMARE of a long line during carnaval season and we were not expecting it 😅 I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars and I would absolutely stay again the next time I am in Rio :)"

"This is not a hotel, it rents rooms by the hour it is a brothel,we booked for the night through expedia. It does not have a cafe, coffee shop or restaurant, it has a 24 hr kitchen that will bring meals to your room. There is no pool and nobody speaks english. The pictures do not match the property. It is a very dangerous area of the city, where Uber drivers are hesitant to come pick you up. We only stayed the one night and have to question why Expedia lists this property."
