"We really enjoyed our seven night stay at the Berkeley Hotel from the moment we arrived. On arrival we were greeted by Elma who booked us in and gave us a warm welcome before recommending somewhere to eat nearby as we had arrived quite late. The room was a very good size with a large clean bed, a small balcony with table and two chairs and a well laid out bathroom with walk in shower. We received two small complimentary bottles of wine on arrival and put them in the rooms good sized refrigerator. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent with a good choice of food including cereals, yoghurts, fruit, cheese, meat and bread as well as hot food including sausage, eggs and bacon. The breakfast staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, Lidija deserving special mention for remembering what drinks we liked and even what size cups/mugs we liked them in. The hotel is located around 40 minutes steady walk from the Old Town but is on the route of No.3 and No.8 local busses (a €2.50 ride each way) and was a short walk from a supermarket where you could buy snacks and alcoholic beverages for your room at good prices. On our last day we were not due to be picked up for the airport until 17:45 so the evening before Elma spoke to her manager (Maria I think) and organised for us to use the room for the full day, she really did go above and beyond. I would highly recommend The Berkeley Hotel for your visit to Dubrovnik, we found it met all our needs and more."

"We stayed here for several days and the proximity to the bus for travel into Old Town Dubrovnik was very easy. The room was beautiful and bed very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our 5th floor balcony. Restaurant called Piramida was just a short walk down the hill and was so delicious we ate there 4 times. Breakfast was beyond outstanding from made to order omelettes, fresh breads, fruits and delicious meats. So much variety! Lots for families from what we could see. Just an excellent experience all the way! "
