"What a little gem right on the beach. I booked last minute and staff was so friendly and accommodating. Great location with easy access to the beach and those refreshing clear Adriatic waters. Wonderful breakfast included, as well as free parking. The hotel has seen better days but it is very clean and has everything you need for a quick overnight. A little expensive but perfect if you are looking to get away from the crowds in Split and sleep in a chill vintage guesthouse. Recommended. "

"Hotel San Antonio is the main hotel in this group and facilities are in this hotel but a short walk away and right next to beach and bars/restaurants. Staff ok and knowledgeable, helpful when asked. Not many shops close by and centre of split is a good 20 mins taxi ride, busses are available but not used by us."

"We had a great stay! The lovely hosts made us feel at home and were very helpful when we had questions or requests. Balconies are great to watch the sun set and moon rise. Fantastic outdoor area with beautiful lap pool. Just a few steps to the beach and outdoor lounge chairs and umbrellas provided. "I loved the pool, the fact thaf the owners were just downstairs if you needed anything, free wifi and air conditioning, literally right beside the beach! Good bus transport to split and split airport!

"Loved having a balcony with beautiful ocean view with close access to beach, and suites are beachside of road.
Bus stop nearby and approx 20 minutes to Split depending on traffic.

Great to have Standup boards, inflatables, umbrellas & plenty of sun lounges on hand. Beach is pebble and not sand beach, so need thongs or sea shoes.

"Villa Zanic has easily been a 10/10. If we could give it a higher score we would. Mickey the receptionist was an absolute gem…so friendly, helpful and a wealth of information. Mladen the manager was also so kind and a joy to visit with. He made us the most amazing breakfast and delicious coffee each morning (for a fee). It was wonderful to enjoy the views from the deck and have some great conversation with him.
Our room was spotlessly clean and well equipped and we loved our deck!! The beds and pillows were a dream to sleep on and the air conditioning in each room made sleeping so comfortable. The walk in rain shower was wonderful to use everyday and unlimited hot water!
We loved having the beach outside our door with pool toys to use, deck chairs and umbrellas for free. It was also nice to have onsite parking.
We were only a short Uber ride to Split which was recommended because of parking issues in the downtown area. The restaurants in the vicinity are wonderful but especially the one right across the street Dioklecijan… absolute best service and the most delicious food!

"We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Tamaris. It is right on a small beach with sunbeds and umbrellas available but we were happy to sit on our patio and walk across to swim in the sea when we wanted to.
The beach is clean but is gravel and thete are rocks in the sea so swim shoes are recommended.
The room itself was spotless when we arrived and we had clean towels provided every day. We didn't cook but there is a hotplate, kettle and fridge.
The wifi was being replaced while we were there so we did not have internet access but this did not affect our holiday.
There are a few nice restaurants within walking distance, in both directions.
