Chudleigh Knighton Hotels

"Nice historic property"

"Love staying here. Lovely room with a balcony, huge bed and spotlessly clean. Staff are really nice and food is fabulous and hot. Lovely setting and so quiet. Ground floor rooms available"

"Location was incredible, lovely room and grounds"

"There is a lot that is exceptionally good about the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful , the food and drinks of high standard and the spa area very good. The only slight downsides were poor WiFi although this seems to affect the whole village when we visited. We’d love to come back."

"Nice location if you have a vehicle. Good pub next door. A bit outdated and u nder renovations so pool, gym, etc not available. Staff very helpful and pleasant"

"Great staff, friendly and attentive. Amazing food, real ale, extensive wine list. Reminiscent of how hotels used to be before corporate takeovers"

"Clean room, very helpful staff and the food was amazing and plenty of parking.."

"Great location. Enjoyed the cooked breakfast."

"It is an older style building, but was clean, central and really good value. The setting and gardens are great and brilliant for dogs."

"Good food great chef"

"Amazing stay, wonderful staff, exceptional food, lovely room."

"Lovely & very accommodating hosts & very good breakfasts. Room was spotless with king size bed, TV, sea views, plenty of storage space, compact ensuite, etc. The on site parking requires some care from drivers, especially if you have a large car. Town centre, pubs, railway station & beach all a short walk down the hill."

"Excellent location, spacious room, great breakfast, beautiful balcony with amazing views, and more importantly very nice and helpful staff 🙏👏"

"Beautiful grounds and castle room. Don’t recommend staying next to the elevator though as it was quite loud"

"A lovely 1 night stay, some lovely added extras for our dog - very dog friendly and staff were really helpful."

"Great Spa facilities, certainly stand out will be back"

"Spotless rooms, attentive friendly staff, lovely sea view and excellent breakfast"

"Convenient location in Exeter for access in and out of the city. Friendly staff at check in. Decent buffet breakfast but can get congested at peak times. Parking available but expensive in Exeter. You get a discount voucher which helps a lot. Have stayed here a few times and will continue to do so."

"Position of the hotel. Very old building but well maintained and very clean."

"Helpful staff and impressive view."
