"Really lovely family run pub and rooms. Food, service and staff were all excellent. The room was spotless and spacious with a great outdoor area to sit with a cuppa. Everything you need is here and a it's a great base to explore lots of local places of interest. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Could not fault and would definitely recommend."

No evening meal offered, although we were having breakfast there was none available and no staff until my partner saw a cleaner who didn’t know we were even staying and then no offer to make breakfast. "We booked the hotel through Expedia for a cycle event in Wincanton. The location was perfect. Our room was huge and had an external door allowing access to the exterior. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the meal. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked too. All staff were pleasant and sociable to us. Would happily stay again."
