"Beautifully spacious and clean, air conditioned room. Excellent outside/garden space with lovely atmosphere, where you can sit into the night thanks to the plentiful heaters. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room were brilliant 'extras' and we even took the chance for a treatment with Catalina. Would highly recommend and we will return."

"This is a beautiful hotel in the best location. On the highstreet in Chipping Camden. Our room was lovely and spacious. But when we got to the room it had a large portable fan in it and the front desk person informed us that the room did not have A/C. I was so sure that when I booked the room it said it was one with A/C. When we were checking out, a staff member came to help us take our suitcases down to the lobby and when I queried the A/C or lack thereof, they said the room did have it. So either we were misinformed by the staff member on the first day or the A/C was broken (hence the fan). the three days we were there were not extremely hot so it didn't ruin the trip. But A/C would have been great to have."

"Lovely period hotel (the original Putin wallpaper in the stairwell is amazing) Breakfast excellent, good choice of everything on the buffet table with food being replenished regularly Bathroom needs improvement, it’s fine for an overnight stay but insufficient pegs, storage if you’re staying for longer. The same applies to the bedroom, great for one night but again if you’re staying longer the dressing table is totally taken up with coffee/tea paraphernalia and no drawer for personal bits and pieces. Bedside tables were just that - a table. However bed comfortable and an extra sheet was thoughtfully left out which was very welcome with the current heat spell"
