Crowne Plaza Hotel Marlow by IHG

"Nice hotel approximately 20-25 minutes walk from the centre of Marlow. We were lucky that the weather was fantastic and so were able to use the pool and outdoor sun loungers. Bit of a bonus ! We eat in the restaurant on one of the evenings and the food was good. Compared to the standard hotels in the centre of London this is a much better alternative and no issues getting the train in and out. Only downside was the bar manager on the evening of the World Cup games who was insistent that the bar would close at 11-00 and he would turn the TV off which he did. A man clearly not suited to the hospitality industry :) That aside the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel."

"What a friendly bunch they are at The Old Bell. Clear the new owners and motivated to make this a great spot for all. A truly warm welcome and great chat with the staff; all keen to learn and do things the right way. They really are a credit to the management. Rooms still need a little work, mattress on the bed was not great at all, but everywhere clean and tidy. Would happily stay again when in the area for work."

"For the price you pay don’t expect the Ritz. It was very basic and did the job as just an overnight stay.property was clean. No staff around in morning to top up coffee pots, replenish drinking juice, plates and cups where all mismatched not all matching. Bit of TLC in the right places and would have gave it 5 stars for the price."
