"We came to Zen and Pine Resort to hike Mt. Yushan. Although that wasn’t possible due to road closure, on the manager’s advice, we instead visited nearby Sun Moon Lake and hiked Mt. Shuishe, which was amazing and rescued our whole trip.

"Well. A very new motel style hotel. Nice staff. Really good breakfast. Great room, great bathroom. But, it is in the middle of no-where. In the middle of a rice paddy to be precise. Which I could admire from my balcony. Plus was it was very quiet. I was riding round Taiwan. I guess the location would not be a problem if I had a car. The location made it a little hard to find too. There is a convenience store about 200m away."
