After walking 2 miles in 90 degree heat we arrived at our "guaranteed hotel" and discovered it was completely closed--every door locked and lobby furniture mostly absent. So at 6:00 p.m. we had to walk around and find another hotel with a vacancy.
The hotel is located in a great spot for easy access to many downtown attractions and buildings! The beds were super comfortable and the Jr Corner Suite we stayed in was spacious and had the mini fridge we needed which was why we upgraded! The price is decent for the convenience of being downtown and the staff that we encountered were all very pleasant! There were a few places in the room that could’ve been cleaner but overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose the hotel again when we come back to Chicago to visit!

Rooms need completely remodeled. Both bathroom sinks along with bathtub were leaking.. we had the junior suite with no fridge or microwave. The AC was stuck at 73° and would not go any lower. Very welcoming staff, very disappointing stay.
First off the hotel was under renovations so it was dusty and dirty I asked for an upgrade to a king size room thinking that it would’ve been better than the queen size room the furniture was old and ran down the bed head stains the bathroom floor was dirty the bathroom door had stains that no one cleaned up also on the wall . The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling unattached the curtains were falling down and they charge me a total of $145 for a one night stay at the rat motel. Highly disappointed was I
The location was perfect, the building was older and charming, the room was just what I needed. The attached bodega was amazing and convenient. I had a slight issue with the heating, but that was QUICKLY remedied and I spent the night very comfortably. Couldn't ask for a better last minute hotel for my live show.
The Property was nice, very comfortable atmosphere, near restaurants and cafes.

Staff was Excellent. The room not so much. If you like good toilet paper, bring your own. Both nights I was bitten several times on the back of my arm. I have no proof of what it was, but I'm pretty sure I know.
This property looks nothing like these photos...Very dirty, smelly, small outdated rooms AC Heater is a window unit Stinks mildew walls in bathrooms low pressure water, elevators are tiny dirty and filthy.
Lobby was dusty dirty outdated
NEVER AGAIN
Nice room, they gave me an upgrade for free because the Queen was too small for my significant other and I. The only problem was that the fridge had old food inside of it, but the staff just probably overlooked it.
The pictures are deceiving. Beds are comfortable, but the rooms are so dingy and dirty. My stay was okay, but I will not be staying here again. Great location, though.
Fast and easy check in even on a Saturday. Room was good for the price. Shower head was too low. Seemed like a handicap bathroom. But got the job done.
