The city of Taranto is not very nice, a lot of boarded up homes, streets at dirt etc. There is not much to do. I thought the price of the room was high considering that city."

The farmhouse has been renovated and is gorgeous - you have a bedroom with another bed on a mezzanine for the kids. The rooms are clean and have aircon (thank goodness... it was 35 degrees :-))
There's parking right in front of your room and a big pool and pool area to use - if I understand correctly there is a small charge to use the pool but we were out every day until late so it didnt apply.

"Lovely to stay in a Trulli for the night and be able to wander around the village before the crowds arrived. Very good breakfast provided. Small point, my confirmation showed an outdoor area at the Trulli I had booked, we didn’t have an outdoor area. This didn’t take away from the enjoyment of the trip however accuracy of accommodation is important. "

We are an extended family made up of two grandparents, three families, and kids ranging from 10 to 17 years old, and for the past ten years, we’ve chosen Alborea Eco Lodge as our summer holiday destination. Every time it confirms our love for it—and every time, it’s hard to leave.
Once again this year, the nautical activities were a big hit, especially with the kids, who enthusiastically took part in windsurfing, sailing, and canoeing.
The food this year was perhaps the best we’ve had in the past ten years. A sincere thank-you and congratulations to the entire kitchen staff.
