"Only stayed night so did not manage to get in to the gym or pool. Room was nice and clean, although a little noisy at times from other guests passing the room. Easy to get too and close enough to Chester"

"Great location by the train station and close to the city centre. Staff were professional and friendly. Many unique features to the hotel like the centre garden, old hotel and the royalty themed King wing. Some of the areas are dated and starting to wear. Colours a bit loud, but a good value and location."

"Perfect stay for our wkd in Chester. Beautiful view of the river from our room. From the staff to the room and our lovely breakfast I would definitely return."

"Excellent location and friendly staff! There was a lovely lady called jules on the reception who was very helpful throughout my stay. Only bad thing is that the windows in the room don’t open so air can feel quite foisty but the aircon was good"

"Arrived at the hotel to be told the Spa was closed with no contact from hotel beforehand. Had to battle for 45 mins to get a partial refund. A huge waste of time, very frustrating and will never return there again!"

"Beautiful hotel, clean, spacious rooms, good service fron reception and a yummy chocolate cookie on arrival! Food is expensive and not much of a variety so decided to eat out. Spa was very relaxing with a pool, outdoor/indoor jacuzzi, stream rooms, sauna and aroma room. Plenty of beds available around 4pm but became busier after 5. Overall had a lovely time and we look forward to our next stay!"

"Lovely hotel in a walking distance from the town centre, highly recommend. Comfy beds, quiet area, lovely brekafast. The only thing I wasn't happy about it the fact that you can't open window at night and you have to sleep under AC."
