Top Chester Hotel Reviews

Moxy Chester
10/10 Excellent
"Arrived on a very hot day to find the air con switch on which was much appreciated. The room wasn't the biggest but very modern, kettle and hairdryer and smart TV. The bed was the comfiest I've slept in any hotel. Not far to walk to the centre. Definitely recommend and I will be going back."

The Mill Hotel & Spa

"Good location"

The Chester Grosvenor
8/10 Good
"The hotel is in the middle of center city about an 18 minute walk (uphill) from the train station. It's a grand old hotel with incredibly helpful and professional staff. The hallways might need a refresh sometime soon but are spacious and well maintained. Our room was also spacious with a true king size bed and fresh, crisp linens. There were two closets and a full size desk. The bathroom was also great size but alas has very old taps (separate hot and cold water) which we had a very difficult time turning on and off (they need to be repaired/replaced). The bathtub (large) had a rain shower but no hand held sprayer. The drain would not hold water in the tub. Breakfast is included with a nice offering of coffee/teas, cereals, porridge, granola, yogurt and breads but can also be upgraded to egg offerings for a very reasonable cost. The staff at the hotel are just wonderful - helpful, pleasant, patient and very professional. Daily housekeeping is top notch. I would definitely return but do consider a taxi if you're walking to/from the train station with luggae."

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and Spa Chester
8/10 Good
"Disappointed that the EV charger was not available as this is the main reason I stay at the property"

The Queen at Chester Hotel, BW Premier Collection
8/10 Good
"Great location, very central and easy to get around. Helpful and friendly staff. Pretty basic rooms but decent for the price (although the showers could do with an upgrade - barely able to take a decent shower due to the wall positioning over the bath)."

Crabwall Manor Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"I have been staying at Crabwall Manor Hotel approximately once a month since 2014 when I travel for work at Chester. I found the room are very big and comfortable and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Thank you."

Mercure Chester Abbots Well Hotel
8/10 Good
"No air conditioning in rooms (just in bar and lounge. ) rooms need updating . Rest all good"

Rowton Hall Hotel and Spa
8/10 Good
"Our apartment room was one of the best rooms we have stayed. Easily 1500 square feet, and a terrific bathroom with large bath and shower. The staff in the bar area were all very young and inexperienced. They had to ask what makes up an Aperol Spritz and it looked like the bar tender had never opened a bottle of wine before: once he had eventually located thr requested bottle. But as they were very friendly, it really wasn't an issue for us. If you are looking for a larger room near Chester, you need to consider this hotel."
