"Love old pub with plenty of character. Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Great food, reasonable price. Choice of cooked breakfast or fruits, yoghurts, croissants, toast and juices etc. Lovely room. Everything you need to hand. Definitely stay there again. Would highly recommend. "

"Fantastic stay at the Lansdowne. We were here on a girls trip and the Oakey cottage was a perfect home base! Easy parking right in front, 5 minute leisurely walk from shops and restaurants was amazing. Breakfast every morning was fantastic and the manager was always there kind and cheery greeting us in the morning which we enjoyed. We had a fantastic time and will definitely return in the future! "

"Beautiful setting Hotel was lovely, we stayed in the little cottages and we couldn’t fault it. Nice and clean. Well presented. Had all that we needed. Having the 2 separate rooms upstairs and downstairs was great for when we put our little boy down to bed. Breakfast was amazing too. 5* all around definitely would recommend and would want to stay again"
