This hotel represents value for money and the quality of the food was very good. They have daily food offers buy one get one free or pie and a pint at a special price. Breakfast wad superb and very satisfying. Would go again next time we need to be in the south-west.

Really impressed, especially for the price! Despite being above a pub, which I think had live music on the night I stayed, the room was one of the quietest I've stayed in. Had a great comfortable night's sleep. The cooked to order breakfast was very good as well. Very happy, will definitely stay here again.

This is a local pub with rooms. Was not busy in bar at anytime during our stay. Rooms were a little basic but comfortable. A cooked to order breakfast was included and was well presented and tasty. Staff/management were very accommodating service with a smile.

Amazing place food is outstanding and unbelievably priced, would highly recommend going just for the food , rooms are really nice and new tvs , only thing i would say is maybe get a firmer mattress on the single beds in the twin room. But other than the mattress i will definitely be staying again.

No food available .. no Chef! but breakfast ready from 08-00 which is no good for the 'on the move' people. Restaurants 300m in either direction. Bedroom OK and comfortable but at the end of a labyrinth of corridors. just a one night stay

Great little pub with rooms. Real value for money.

Had upgrade which was nice to have a king size bed to sleep in, shower was hot & breakfast plentiful. Would use this again when in area. Only disappointment was no food served Mondays so had to go look but had some other pubs & Indian restaurant close.

Staff and food great,but not building or parking.

Cheltenham prices are higher than the other locations we've visited, but the age and layout of the old pub building leaves you feeling short changed. Staff service and food were very good and breakfast was included in price. Parking was on the street, time sensitive and where a gap could be found.

The room was fine. A shame the toilet seat was obviously loose and wouldn’t stay up. Also told on arrival that evening food wasn’t available, which wasn’t really a problem with an Indian restaurant just up the road but it isn’t what I would have chosen to eat. Having food available on site is the main reason I book here. I have stayed many times and hope to stay again soon.

on the Expedia site it is saying free self parking leading you to believe they have a carpark but they do not it s find a space on the road and park your self (there are lots of places ) but the inn its self is a good place to stay clean rooms etc and breakfast is served at 07:00

A friendly place to stay

I stayed twice at The London Inn as it was in a convenient location on my way to and from Manchester. Both rooms I stayed in were clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic with everything from beans on toast to a full English, which was all cooked to order and served quickly by the fantastic and friendly host. Parking was OK as I managed to get a space on the road outside but the hotel itself is not disabled friendly. No ground floor rooms and no wheelchair access. But, overall, I enjoyed my stays and can recommend The London Inn for its friendliness and location to Cheltenham.

The London Inn is a good place for Bed & Breakfast on the outskirts of Cheltenham. It's about a mile East of the centre, on the A40 (which is not the trunk road at this point, carrying mainly local traffic into the town). On-street parking was possible on the main road - the side road had no spaces when I tried. Its location means there was a bit of road noise (I had a room with a lot of window area facing the road, but there was secondary double glazing which kept it manageable. The bed was fine and the shower and wifi both worked well (not at the same time). The room had a large TV, with Freeview including the radio channels. The staff were exceptionally helpful - someone had been smoking in my room the night before and they tried hard to freshen it (the previous person had apparently also damaged the bathroom, but that was all fixed before I arrived). They serve a decent pint downstairs - even though it was a Saturday night there was no problem with late drinkers or noise. A cooked vegetarian breakfast was good.
