Average stay. The room was on the 1st floor and looked and felt like a room in a basement, gray and dark. I know the planks of wood on the walls was supposed to be decoration... but the should be painted or stained at least.

It was nice having free hot breakfast every morning, the staff was nice and friendly and I had a good night's sleep. The only downside was the first day that we were to have our room serviced, it didn't happen and I ended up changing my own linen. We informed management at the front desk and they did accommodate us with extra points for the inconvenience. Beyond that, the room was a little smaller than expected, but overall, we had a decent stay.

Well , they have no public laundry , no microwave in room , and they need at least 1 or 2 large baggage carts - with 4 wheels and a platform to stack luggage on . The refrigerator is to small . THE STAFF IS FANTASTIC !!! ALL STAFF IS GREAT . That includes front desk personnel , breakfast personnel , Management personnel , and cleaning personnel .

Decently clean, toilet paper needed to be changed both times we visited, very gross to leave used paper and not have a fresh roll. Ive never seen that at any hotel I’ve been to. Tissue was almost out both times as well. Bed Comforter was thin and cheap, felt only a touch heavier than a sheet or lightweight throw blanket. Only three thin/limp pillows per bed. It felt cheap. Staff was pleasant, food was decent. It was a meh stay. It was nothing I’d be looking forward to doing again or plan to do. You get what you pay for and I wouldn’t stay here again unless I had no other option.

Room needed a deep cleaning, bathroom wall made me feel sick, bathroom sink drain stopper not working. Hand soap dispenser was empty.Greasy fingerprints everywhere in the room. Hallway smelled like dirty carpet. No pancake mix for machine, juice machine juice was watered down, tables were all dirty, there was someone working there but he just watched us didn’t clean any tables when people were finished. Front desk left alone often. From 7 am to 7:15 this morning there was no one there. One left and the other one didn’t show up till 7:15. Management needs a replacement. We stayed in Sharonville yesterday and it was top notch….what a difference.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. But, unlike previous Tru experiences, we did not sleep well. The ac/heat unit was EXTREMELY , noisy! Almost every time it kicked on it woke both of us up. Also, now to self, never take a room next to the elevators. We heard people on and off the elevator very late into the night. Room 219. Maybe it was the construction of the hotel but we could easily hear normal conversations in the next room and in the hallway.
