"This hotel won’t be for everyone. The location is excellent and it appears ownership are making efforts to upgrade the space. The rooms are small but clean. The breakfast was average. The hotel is unstaffed, and guests are informed of this in advance. The unstaffed kiosk check in does work efficiently. "So - when we arrived, the manager Nicolas was amazing. We were early, no problem… he gave us a newly refurbished room which whilst small was excellent. We asked about going into Bordeaux and he spend time talking us through how best to do it, where to go etc. he couldn’t do enough for us and all with a smile. Breakfast was fabulous… we would highly recommend this hotel as a great place to stay - just off the otorway but quiet! "

"Stunning property.
A little warning to travellers: there is Nothing to do there and no where to eat nearby except for Caudalie, which was booked out every night and day. So unless you are happy to travel every night around 30 minutes, prepare yourself for dining on sandwiches.
