Short Getaway

This hotel is currently under renovation but the rooms were amazing and clean. The hotel is in walking distance to many restaurants and a Walmart and located right off the interstate. The only thing we didn’t enjoy were the renovations crews working so early so you couldn’t relax during the day if you wanted too. But other than it was nice stay.

The room is fine....clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is a little run down. Sidewalks had wet cement in many places my first night. The elevator is dirty and smelly. The lobby is unattractive and the desk staff is slow and a bit aloof. Fortunately, im cto visit with a terminally ill friend, so im satisfied with thecroom as a place to sleep.

first they gave us an occupied room still dirty towels in the bathroom bed was recently slept in and TV and light were on. the b they gave us a second room that they had to make 4nseta of keys to get us into ... all said it took 1 hours to get into our room that was joyfully accompanied by what sounded to be a welding crew erecting anmonomumet in the parking lot overall my best check in at a moteln6 ever

Give this place a pass if you can afford another

Only good comments I can make is the convenience of the location and the price. First room assigned was definitely not non-smoking and second room was in very worn condition.

The price was the best part but the property needs to be refurbished. It would not be my first choice again. But it was not terrible the people were nice and helpful. The owners need to make it more appealing. I would stay there again if i was short on money there are a lot worse places.

I stayed at the Motel 6 with my husband and two dogs, for two nights, for leisure. I had a good experience right from the beginning, the front desk was amazing and made us feel at home right away. The room was clean and comfortable. The motel is undergoing renovations, but their elevator was operating well, so we felt no limitations. The TV was a problem. It did not work through our entire stay. We did not care because we used my laptop anyway, but it could be something to ask in advance, and ensure the TV is up and running. We liked the motel, the way we were treated, the quality of the room, and the location.

Over all the stay was adequate for our needs at the time. Facilities are run down and in need of repairs though. Area seemed to be pretty quite. Lots of fadded paint, rotten hand rail on outside balcony. All of the furniture was worn with one chair having obvious damage from a cat. There was also trash left on the floor in our room.

Octavia was the most unfriendly head of house I’ve ever encountered. I was not greeted by a grunt. The next day I had no internet connection. Went to the desk to inquire about the situation. She responded with you have an HP? Well, that’s way it’s not working, clear your cookies.I walked out and went to Hardee’s to use their connection. When I returned another guest was working on their device, so I inquired. He told me I had to sign out and then back in every day. But, watch out there’s a puddle of dog pee in front of your door. I then went back to see Octavia but decided there was no use. There were two other people who were the best! Demond and Quan. They were friendly, helpful, competent, knew the area and surrounding neighborhoods. They always said hello, inquired if everything was ok, asked if I had any special plans. They even had suggestions on different routes to take to get to wherever I needed to be. I enjoyed them very much.

There were a number of problems including non-functioning internet, dirty floors. no ash tray in a smoking room, and the "towels" were actually floor mats. They have made excellent progress on updating the rooms and things were new and in good shape.
