"Checked in to learn that I no longer had the king suite that I paid for but a handicap king studio. Only received a $15 credit per night for the inconvenience. I chose this hotel because of the suite room. The staff offered to let me cancel my reservation with no penalty, knowing darn well all the hotels were full. The worst customer service that I have ever been a part off. Never expected this to happen in Charlestonn."

"The place was very nice, right off the beach, and overall a clean establishment. The only issues I had was the walls felt paper thin. I heard every conversation in the rooms next to me and above me. Another flaw was the way the building was designed which gave the corridor a huge echo which exacerbated the noise problem. Also, there were a group of guys that were roomed right next to us and they kept us awake until about 1:30am and even then there were the occasional bangs, yelling, and music playing. If possible I would recommend rooming couples or people on retreats away from party groups, that was the biggest con."

"Be careful paying extra for any type of room with a view - it’s not always what they say. We paid extra for a harbor view. Our balcony faced the neighboring building. You COULD see the harbor if you leaned out and looked to the left…so I guess you can have a harbor view if you work at it- but not from inside the room with the doors open. When I asked if that was indeed a harbor view room- The staff laughed and literally said let me know if you have any issues. I told them that was an issue and got another friendly laugh.
