"Great stay, with a very welcoming host, clean and charming rooms, great breakfast. The farm animals, family rooms and game room make it perfect for a family stay. Highly recommended!"
"Prix intéressant. Sanitaire et électricité vieillissants. Une seule prise par chambre et mal orienté empêchant de mettre une multiprise. Un hébergement pour dépanner."
"The staff was very friendly, it was clean, but the beds were very poor/ bad / too soft and too low for an older person . Also the shower: if you are a big person you can't enter the shower"

The magnificent Renaissance château of Chambord rises from surrounding forests with its distinctive French roofline and 440 rooms to explore. Tour the double-helix staircase designed by Leonardo da Vinci, then rent bikes to discover wildlife in the château's vast park and forest reserve.
"We had a lovely room on the second floor. The air conditioning was efficient and very quiet- a real plus in the heatwave. We parked easily in the courtyard. The pool area is surrounded by walks and trees so there was plenty of shade as well as sun loungers. The receptionist was very helpful and explained everything thoroughly. We had a great breakfast as well. They had gluten free bread for me, which is not always the case in France. "

10/10 Excellent
"Everything was top notch: service, cleanliness, staff, grounds...the slanted ceiling was a bit of a problem for us, but we managed. Gorgeous property! Thank you to Sheryl and the barteneder who made us a kir royale the US way with real Chambord! Kudos!"
"From the moment you arrive the service is impeccable. Our room was clean, spacious, charming and so peaceful with a serene view. We had breakfast and dinner each day and both were outstanding. Excellent location close to vineyards, Blois and Orleans. Bike or take a run on the beautiful grounds or take a peaceful walk through the Forrest. Perfect for dog lovers. Book early for the spa as it is so well done with a variety of excellent services. Don’t forget to save room in your suitcase for local wine, honey and Caudalie!"
