"This establishment is in my opinion, not a Hotel. It is a Villa and a good one too. Be warned - it is NOT in Cetona!! It is a false representation to say it is in Cetona. It is kilometers from Cetona - the Expedia Site needs to be corrected. It was very difficult to find and I mean difficult given my lack of Italian. Also, Tom Tom did not show the address given. This was a real challenge which should be fixed by a sketch map being put on the Expedia site. It is a real Tuscan Villa on a hill....

"Just got back from 8 glorious days in Tuscany, travelling with a friend, we made Il Pornelleto our home base. If you’re looking to fully take in the country side, sights, sounds and gastronomic delights of the Tuscan country side, Il Pornelleto is the place to stay. From Rome we took the train (Firenze line) and in about 2 hours were in Chiusi. "Amazing location in the hills above Orvieto. A beautiful resort with stunning scenery. Quiet and relaxing. Very comfortable rooms and the breakfast was fantastic. Very friendly staff. Only a 10 minute drive to Orvieto which is an incredible Tuscan hill town. "
