"it was a nice experience the host was amazing and friendly, they also had a restaurant and bar with live music across the street, it was perfect for the evening and highly recommended, we are planning to bring our friends over."
"Good economical hotel where you can see that most locals stay. While I only stayed two nights, it’s served its purpose. Rooms are a bit dated still average for the stay. "
"The hosts were very nice, and the property is well maintained. The room was well decorated, clean, and we had access to the kitchen.
Lily, the dog, was very sweet too. "

"The hotel is stunning. Great architecture. The restaurant is also very nice. CAUTION - Since it's located in a national reserve, you must be in before 8PM. The forest service will close the gate. I arrived at 8:02PM and the gate was closed. Fortunately one side was open so I went through there. Account for the windy and steep roads. Also, the rain. You will be able to leave until the park open up.
After 10PM the front desk closes so you will be dealing with security.
Our room faced the volcano which was amazing. The room are spacious and clean. "
"Barceló was beyond great. My son had food poisoning in Guatemala but we were already on our way to Barcelo. II needed to check my family in at Barceló so I can go find a hospital or clinic that was open at 11PM. I told the front desk he knew where I may find a doctor, told me to wait while he went to the phone. He hung up and said that a Dr was on his way to the hotel. Also, the Dr was covered by the Barcelo so I didn't need to worry about that. The Dr arrived & treated my son in the room with medicines. He arraigned for testing where it was confirmed that he did have a parasite.
Barcelo stepped up for us & appreciate them for it. Should I return to San Salvador, I will definitely stay at Barcelo again."
"I stayed for a week and i have to say it was amazing. The views from the pool area was spectacular. The outside area was neat and cozy, the service was top notch, and the area was very quiet and safe. One thing I feel is necessary to point out was that the bathroom needed a bit of a deeper clean, other than that my family and I enjoyed our stay. The area helped us recognize the beautiful pacific coast of El Salvador. 10/10 recommend."
"The view was amazing! Lake and windows truly gorgeous. Cool shower, TV with Netflix, interesting capsule rooms. I’d say the private pool is tiny and not really worth it. The property was so fun to walk around, as it had restaurants, mini golf, playground, fruit trees, trampoline, other pools, etc."
"I love the fact that the houses, well they called Villas , are build in the
gorgeous Mountains, every single villa have this absolutely stunning view of the ocean
They are equipped with absolutely everything that you need inside
Very cozy bed, they even have the porch in the front of the Villa
I have been into a beautiful hotel room
But nothing like this villas
I absolutely recommended, if you want to have a piece of mind, this is the place to go
The view that every villa have is pretty amazing
"
"Beautiful view of the volcano! They had a good restaurant on property and good hiking trails and offered tours to the volcano. It is a hidden gem for sure."
