"We had such a wonderful stay at Sol Miranda! We arrived late in the evening after a long day of travel and they were incredibly accommodating and welcoming from the moment we arrived even though we arrived after check in had ended. The service throughout our stay was excellent — everyone was kind, helpful, and made us feel very taken care of. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect way to start our morning before exploring. One thing we especially appreciated was how gracious they were about storing our luggage for the entire day after checkout while we explored the area. They even helped arrange a tuktuk for us to the train station, which made everything so much easier and stress-free. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Ollantaytambo — comfortable, welcoming, and genuinely wonderful hospitality!"

"We loved the location of this property! It’s a convenient, sub-10-minute walk to the Machu Picchu train station and perfectly situated near the Plaza de armas, local restaurants, and the Ollantaytambo ruins. While the breakfast was simple, it was a nice start to the day. The staff were incredibly kind, though we did find communication a bit challenging despite English being listed as an available language. The room itself was very clean, though the bathroom sink area could use a little extra attention regarding some mildew."

"The floor is extremely clean. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. He helped us to print some tickets. Although he speaks Spanish, and we speak in English, it is not a problem as long as we can google translate, and he is really willing to help us. I felt being well taken care of. The best hotel in my Peru trip!"

"The hotel recently changed their name to Tierra Viva. We were not aware of that so there was a bit of confusion when we arrived. Pros- friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful natural setting. Very close to the train station without being right next to the tracks. Good selection for breakfast. Quaint and charming rooms. Cons- needs a little updating.(especially the Electrical outlets). I would definitely stay here again if I return."
