"Outstanding resort! Beautiful property, excellent service, delicious food, and luxurious rooms. The views of the mountains and gardens with alongside river flowing was stunning, and the private train station was a huge convenience for visiting Machu Picchu. "Our stay was truly the experience of a lifetime. Every member of the staff was exceptionally kind, caring, and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. After a long day, I had trouble making it up the hill to our room, and the gentleman who escorted us graciously carried my bag. I wish I had gotten his name so I could thank him personally. It was so late when we checked in that I completely forgot to ask. Jorge was equally wonderful. He and his dog, Sunny, gave us a ride back down the hill, adding a personal touch that made our stay even more special. To top it all off, the night sky was absolutely breathtaking. Seeing so many stars was an unforgettable experience. Combined with the outstanding hospitality, it made for a stay we’ll always cherish."

"They serve a full breakfast and made up to go breakfast for us when we had really early excursions. Very sweet and helpful staff. The rooftop balcony had a nice view of the whole city."

"In the small town, hotel is found in an alley. There is a stone walkway up but sometimes the receptionist is in and out of the office, so just give it a minute before they show up again. did not get to try the breakfast, but it was complementary disappointed that I didn’t. Walls are paper thin but room is clean and the train is a 10 minute walk down the street along with everything else. Very great location."

"The staff were all so nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great. Rooms a bit outdated but clean. Best thing was the hotel brought our bags to the train station after our trip to Machu Picchu so we did not have to go back to the hotel and pick them on our way out of Aguas Calientes."
