"Buildings very pretty; nice views and pools. Some hotel room buildings need repair, large gaps around doors and windows allow bugs, spiders and cockroaches in (we found in our hotel room). Intermittent service quality, room service occasionally took over 2 hours, and long lines for golf cart rides most of the day at busy areas. Friendly staff, good quality food for all inclusive. Overall good deal and value, but room quality and service were on par for the price. Probably will not return and stay at a more modern place in the future."

"Nice location on the harbor. We stayed on the hotel side, our friends stayed on the condo side. It was nice to have access to the pool, but our friends did not. The hotel bars were more expensive compared to bars across the street. I thought the staff was pushy selling you upgrades, but that's what they do."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Montecristo and we can’t wait to return! The property is stunning! Palm trees, beautiful colorful flowers, and cliffs over looking the beautiful ocean. Staff goes out of their way to help you in any way. Everyone we met was friendly and kind. There are multiple restaurants throughout the property. Shuttles also run to the other Pueblo Bonito resorts and all are included on the all inclusive plan. This was our first time here but won’t be our last. If I had one con, it would be that they were a little pushy about the timeshare presentations. On a short trip with our kids, I didn’t want to waste an afternoon on a presentation. I wish there was alternative options… maybe an online webinar that could be viewed not during vacation? I’m sure it is a wonderful place to have ownership but didn’t want to take away from our vacation. "

"The Ocean view was not as advertised, the spa was not functioning properly it did not heat the pool was not clean. The most important part was the the road was not meant to be traveled on with a small car, it was more suited for a high clearance 4 wheel drive. I mentioned this to the staff and informed that excess to the property was no reason for a cancellation refund. This property is not safe. I would highly recommend that Hotels.Com not represent this property. I opened a chat with Hotels. and never got a reply. We left after the first night and booked much nicer and safer hotel for the remainder of our vacation. I would request Hotels.Com help me resolve this issue."
