"I had stayed earlier at Riu Las America in Cancun and I feel this time Riu didn’t really live up to the experience as much as last time. I won’t say it was terrible but it was just a bit off. The restaurants were located very dar away from our room and we had booked the Riu Party room so.. it was a lot of walk back and forth. There were no elevators.. The rooms were very dusty.. to my surprise, they don’t offer shower caps or even body lotions.. Overall the staff was really pretty nice and they also had quiet a few vegetarian options at their buffet restaurants which was great. I would recommend going there with the mindset that you would really have to walk a lot and carry everything you might need as I felt I wasn’t prepared well"

"Very clean rooms and common areas. This property is a no frills kind of place with friendly, helpful staff. The location is incredible, just steps from great bars, restaurants and all that Cabo San Lucas has to offer. It’s inexpensive and is a great value. I’ll definitely be back."
